Sara further told me how it came about John asked me to do their commission 'I entered them into a competition in the Evening Telegraph where they both reached the final 10 but were beaten by a staffy dog. I really did think one of them would win and the prize was a portrait for the winning pet. I think john got the idea from that as i was a little disappointed' Of course John then found out about me and the rest is history .. I am so happy to have been able to paint them .. thank you John!
